What do you look like?...22 July 2010.If you've used a business email address for your Facebook, Linked In etc profile be mindful that programmes like Xobni will bring up your photo from that profile, when people (who subscribe to this software) receive an email from you. If you want people to see you on the beach with your kids then fine. If not, make sure the photos you post on social media profiles using your business email point to your professional life not personal one.

Think before you sync...21 July 2010.Techonology now enables us to synchronise information across our different social media profiles. That's fine if your audience is the same across all, but think before you sync. Is your Facebook audience the same as your Twitter or Linked In one? Don't let tweets, messages or updates harm the profile you are trying to build. Be clear about why you are using specific social networks.
